Meir is the main shopping street in Antwerp. Situated in the centre of Antwerp, Meir connects the Town Hall with the Central Station. Most shops are housed in the historic properties located the street. The « Palace on the Meir » and the « Festival Hall », both have been recently renovated and the Festival Hall now serves as a luxurious shopping centre.
