Place St. Lambert is located in the center of the city of Liege. It was occupied until 1794 by former Notre-Dame-et-Saint- Lambert. After the destruction of the cathedral, by the inhabitants themselves, during the Liege revolution, it became the city's main square. Today, metal pillars show the width of the cathedral. The foundations of the old cathedral were discovered during several archaeological investigations.
