The museum wants to keep the rich fishing past of the Flemish coast alive with the elaborate museum collections presented in lifelike decors. Shore-based fishing and the story of horseback shrimp fishermen have their place here. The coastal fishing vessel « OD.1 Martha » and the impressive North Sea aquariums complete this atmospheric complex.
