Part of the Valley of Frescoes, the Notre Dame Church is located on a rocky cliff overlooking the old bridge and the Gartempe River. Saint Catherine's Crypt lies beneath the church and features 12th century paintings depicting the life of Saint Catherine of Alexandra.
