The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia (Abbreviated MAC, for Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya) was created under the Museums of Catalonia Act in 1990 by the Department of Culture of the Government of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. The head office is located in the former Palace of Graphic Arts, which was built for the 1929 World's Fair, in Barcelona.
