Perched high on the hills overlooking the Meuse, the elegant Chateau of Aigremont was built at the start of the 18th century according to the traditional ordinance of the time. The interior is a fine example of Baroque splendour which is quite unique in Belgium, and the admirable finishing of its walls, in calcareous ragstone, make it an architectural gem of rare beauty.
