The museum is housed in the atmospheric cellars of City Hall, a relic of the three houses that stood here until the early 18th century. The silverware of the shooters guilds, utensils, sculpture, paintings, furniture and more in a very pleasant way so tell the story of Diest. Showpiece is « the Annunciation », is a painting by Hendrick ter Brugghen, one of the greatest painters of the Utrecht school.
