Barrage de la Gileppte is a hydroelectric dam located in the eastern part of the forest Hertogenwald in the High Fens, Belgium. The water reservoir is created and sustained primarily by Gileppe and the stream of Luba (or Raboru). It's the oldest one of this type in Europe. The inauguration of the dam was held July 28, 1878 by King Leopold II.The space of the lake was 12 million cubic meters, and increased to over 13 million cubic meters after the drought of 1921.
