OUDE MARKT VAN LEUVEN

The old market is a rectangular square in the Centre of Leuven that largely consists of catering businesses. It owes its nickname the longest bar counter in the world. As a residence city of the counts of Leuven got the square in 1150, when the first stone ramparts was built, the market right, creating economic activities were developed.
