Thanks to the unique collection ‘vélocipèdes’, the Cycling museum maps the entire history of cycling. From the wooden hobby horse, or Draisine, to the first pedal- driven bicycles of Macmillan; from the Michaux to the high bi, from the first racing bikes to the modern mountain bike. Through the years, the bicycle has not only been a technical story, but has also played a social, a recreational and a sports-loving role.
