Côte des Deux-Amants (Side of the Two Lovers) is situated at the confluence of the Seine and the Andelle. It take its name to the poem of The Lais of Marie de France. Les Deux Amants is written in Old French, in rhyming octosyllabic couplets. This lai tells the tragic story of two lovers, who died during their attempt to love each other.
