Blangy-le-Château is a commune in the Calvados department in the Basse-Normandie region. It lies within "The Garden of the Coast", in the golden triangle of Calvados, called as such because of its valleys and pockets of beauty. The village was built in the middle of seven hills, like the city of Rome, so the surroundings are strikingly beautiful. Its timbered houses, some dating from the 16th century, are strikingly beautiful and full of charm.
