Created in 1875 then transformed in museum of France in 2003, the museum exhibits an amazing collection of gallo-roman glasswares, local furnitures -testimony of the 19th century art of compagnnonage- fine arts gallery showing the 19th and 20th century artistes in Vendée : Paul Baudry, Charles Milcendeau, Gaston Chaissac...and so many others.
