ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE DE MONTMARTRE

At the top of the Montmartre hill, a stone's throw from the Eglise Saint-Pierre, is the oldest church in Paris. It was built on the remains of a chapel consecrated to Saint Denis which dated to the 3rd Century. The present church was consecrated in 1147 by Pope Eugenius III.
