PLACE ÉMILE GOUDEAU 
In Place Emile-Goudeau in Montmartre, a little tree-planted square, is an unremarkable, rather irregular house at No. 13 which was the birthplace of Cubism. A long series of famous painters had their studio in this house. It was burned down in 1970 but was later rebuilt by the city in its original form.
