The Cloître des Billettes is the only remaining medieval cloister in Paris. It takes it's name from the former convent there, which housed the brothers of the Charité de Notre-Dame called Billettes, who later were given the name of Carmes.
The cloister is particularly remarkable for its very beautiful flamboyant vaults (arches).
