ÉGLISE SAINT-JOSEPH-DES-CARMES

This church in the 6th Arrondissement of Paris was consecrated in 1625 by the covenant of Carmes Déchaussés. Built in the Jesuit style, Chapelle Saint-Joseph des Carmes is famous for its ancient dome and its sordid history as a prison during the Revolution. It occasionally hosts classical and choral concerts throughout the year.
