PLACE DE LA MADELEINE 
Place de la Madeleine is just to the north of the Place de la Concorde and close to the Opéra Garnier and the Place Vendôme. The La Madeleine Church dominates the Place de la Madeleine. The church looks like a Roman temple, surrounded by 52 Corinthian Columns, each 20m high. The design was based on the Maison Carrée at Nîmes.
