LA GRANGE AUX DÎMES 
The Tithe Barn or Grange aux Dîmes was used not only to store the grain collected as tax from farmers, but as the site of the Champagne Fairs where a form of wholesale, intra-European trading went on. These fairs flourished during the 13th century, and are one of the earliest examples of a European linked economy.
