CATHÉDRALE NOTRE-DAME DE ROUEN

Rouen Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Gothic cathedral and it is the seat of the Archbishop of Rouen and Normandy. Rouen Cathedral was the tallest building in the world from 1876 to 1880. It contains a tomb of Richard the Lionheart which contained his heart. The most famous paintings of the cathedral were produced by the Impressionist painter Claude Monet.
