El Fangar is a peninsula that goes into the sea to the north of the mouth of the Ebre, in front of Fangar bay. It is a large coastal arrow-like shape with the best sandbanks and moving dunes in the Delta. As for fauna, this area is very important for breeding sea birds. It is also important as a refuge and feeding area for migratory water birds.
