The Pedraforca is a mountain of the Pyrenees, located in the Berguedà comarca. It is one of the most famous and emblematic mountains in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It has a very peculiar shape, composed of two parallel ridges (the pollegons) joined by a neck (the Enforcadura). The upper ridge has an altitude of 2,497 m (2506 according to Alpina mountain maps) with a secondary peak, the Calderer of 2,475.4 m.
