Sabadell History Museum was founded in 1931 as a city museum whose purpose was to house the many materials discovered during various years of archeological research in the area. However, since 1971, the Museum has been located in factory-home of Antoni Casanovas, a textile entrepreneur from Sabadell. The Museum’s permanent exhibition illustrates the history of the territory of Sabadell from the origins of man to the modern age and the founding of the industrial city.
