The Middelheim Museum is an open-air museum with a magnificent collection of modern and contemporary sculpture. The museum collection includes around 480 sculptures, 280 medals and 600 sketches and prints, largely executed by sculptors. Around two hundred sculptures are sited across a park of 25 hectares.
