In 1928, the museum housed in the Bijlokeabdij. In its permanent exhibition STAM will trace Ghent's evolution through to the present day and, wherever possible, even provide a glimpse of the future. Highlights of the museum are the airphoto of Ghent, 300 m², which the visitors can walk around and software that Gent in detail and can be viewed in four centuries.
