The Art Museum (MD'A) of Girona is the result of the joint presentation of some pieces from the collection of the old Provincial Museum of Antiques and Fine Arts and some others from the collection of the Diocesan Museum. It's housed in the Episcopal Palace of the old neighborhoud of Girona. It is one of the most outstanding buildings in the city. The art collection is made up of 8,500 art pieces that range from the pre-Romanesque period to the present day.
